Happy December folks! The last month has been a bit of a whirlwind with author events, going to see a bunch of theater shows to support students (Madagascar, Matilda, Xanadu, and Hadestown), and Thanksgiving.

Happy spooky season! The leaves are changing colors, falling down, and crunching beneath feet; twelve-foot skeletons loom from neighbors' yards; and pumpkin spice infuses everything.

Happy September, Hispanic Heritage Month, and back-to-school time! Real life gets very busy for me this time of year. Every weekend is dedicated to the gods of children's soccer, I have lots of lessons to prep, and the fam needs to do all the fall things, such as traipsing through (creepy) sunflower mazes (see below).
