Happy August! The last month has consisted of more summering: pooling, laking, biking, gardening, celebrating my son's birthday, and hiking while taking lots of photos of fungi.
Happy July! The last month has been full of the loveliest bits of summer life: sleeping "late," (as late as one can with a three year old anyway), lounging in the newly installed above-ground pool, hanging with friends, and taking some trips.
Happy pride month and happy summer vacation to those you involved the in education world as I am. June is a strange month. It's filled with goodbyes and see you laters--to my students, to my colleagues, to my children's teachers.
